The Hall

Sited conveniently close to the A39, with plenty of parking, the Otterham & St Juliot Hall offers good facilities for many events.

The Hall caters for people living in the surrounding areas, not only (as the name suggests) in the parishes of Otterham and St Juliot but also from a wider area as far away as Bude, Camelford, Davidstow and Boscastle.

There is a spacious main Hall and a smaller meeting room that can accommodate 15/20 people, a catering standard kitchen and a bar facility that is available by arrangement. Equipped with high quality tables and chairs, sufficient facilities are provided for up to 100 seated guests. The wooden sprung floor is excellent for dances, for keep fit and other activities whilst the under-floor heating will ensure a comfortable environment during the winter months.

All the Hall's facilities are fully accessible and designated disabled car parking bays are provided.

A hearing loop facility is installed inside the Hall.

The well equipped kitchen has a centre island for food preparation and is provided with a dishwasher, an oven, a grill, and a microwave. There is a water boiler plus crockery and cutlery for 100 place settings.

Initiatives and concessions are available for local groups who wish to hire the Hall.

Big Lottery The Hall was opened for business in November 2014 after a concerted fund-raising exercise to replace the dilapidated previous building. This was only finally realised after a grant was obtained from the Big Lottery "Reaching Communities" programme. Further details may be found on the History page.
