B R SOUTHERN REGION PENHALLICK NORTH CORNWALL LINE

Photograph: Tony Wright, BRM

Penhallick is a 4mm model of a line that never was! The North Cornwall Line ran from Halwill to Padstow, calling along the way at places such as Launceston, Camelford, Delabole and Wadebridge. The line modelled is an imaginary branch that led from a triangular junction at Delabole to the fictitious fishing village of Penhallick, on the north Cornwall coast.

After a number of years on the exhibition circuit the layout was "retired" to a permanent home where it has been re-modelled into a U-shape which has entailed a number of alterations, and gave the opportunity to add a dairy.

There have been Visitor Counter by Digits fares collected to date.
